Silhouette Blade Cutting Through Vinyl Backing

My friend and fellow instructor elly from silhouette secrets has diagnosed this issue so often on facebook that she keeps a photo of a properly installed blade on hand to post whenever someone is having cutting issues.

Once the cut is finished use the unload button on your machine to unload your vinyl. The end cap unscrews while it s cutting it won t automatically set itself to the cut settings in the send menu etc. In most cases there are two quick fixes that will fix the issue and get you cutting successfully in a hurry.
