1 blade is not properly inserted and or locked down.
Silhouette cutting vinyl too deep.
When the blade is not fully seated in the tool carriage meaning there is a gap even a small one it actually cuts too deep.
If your silhouette cameo 4 wont read registration marks for print and cut it is likely trying to read the grid lines on your cutting mat left.
Blade fin is not aligned at 6 o clock the black fin on the ratchet blade housing must be pointed at the 6 o clock position or the silhouette will not cut correctly or at all unlock the lock and turn the blade until the fin is in the correct position.
If your silhouette cutting mat is brand new you may want to de stick the cutting mat somewhat by blotting it with a clean t shirt.
I love this option because you can use long rolls of vinyl and cut multiple projects at once.
If your silhouette autoblade continues to cut through the vinyl it s very likely due to the way the autoblade is seated in the tool carriage.
To cut properly the blade must be pushed all the way down with no visible gap between the tool holder and the blade.
Place the vinyl onto the silhouette cutting mat with the backing paper side down onto the mat making sure the vinyl is covering the same area where the design is placed on the virtual mat in silhouette studio.
